Numeracy Fun

At Maths club we do various investigations, for example leaping frogs. You have to get counters (frogs) from one side of the board to the other. Have a go see how you get on. You can only move a frog to an empty space, either by moving one square forward or jumping forward over another frog.

Have a go using different colour counters instead of frogs and toads.

Another investigation we did was handshakes

If there were 3 people how many handshakes could they have together and so on 4, 5, 6. See if you can see a pattern.

So you see maths club is work, but fun. We work together to solve our investigation, also we are all willing to discuss our ideas.
